In this simulation you will join the team and act as a Product Manager.

 

What does Product Manager do?

  • Analyze and breakdown market problems into prioritized, deliverable stories,

  • Data-driven user journey and product development

  • Be involved with all phases of development (analysis, design, coding, testing, deployment),

  • Observing, learning about, contacting and analyzing customers and end users of the product,

  • Keeping in touch with every stakeholder of the product regularly.

SpeedEats is one of the leading food ordering service (like GetirYemek, TrendyolGo, Zomato, etc.) in Turkey with its native mobile app. SpeedEats have thousands of restaurants on its platform nationwide.

 

The date is early 2021 and the world is trying to recover from Covid 19. With the recent lockdown and economic crisis, customer needs and behaviours are evolving when it comes to ordering food from restaurants. While consumers are more likely to order takeout than dine at a restaurant, their preferences and concerns are different than than they may have been in the past.

 

You are one of a few big players in the space and you have meaningful overlap between which restaurants are available on each platform, so you need to find other ways to build a competitive advantage.

 

At this timeframe, you joined the team as Product Manager. Just before you join, marketing team realized some ambiguities in total number of orders. You're asked to analyze the data and come up with solutions.
